Hockey only ended a little over a month ago and I'm already going insane. I cannot take it. Is this healthy? To feel like I am going to go insane or get cabin fever simply because I cannot watch or go see my favorite sport? Some say yes, some say no. I guess it all depends on who you are talking to.
So, here it is. My hockey blog. I have been wanting to start one forever, because well I'm obsessed if you cannot tell. This blog will probably be boring up until pre-season starts, which by then I will be going even MORE crazy. Good kind of crazy I hope, not this crazy I am right now.
I guess I can do a bit of an intro. I'm a twenty something living in California, cheering for the San Jose Sharks. My favorites all got traded/told to GTFO this season so I'm basically left with Joe Thornton. Which, isn't bad, however I only have one jersey I can wear to the games now and that is a bit depressing. I also cheer for the Flyers and Chicago Blackhawks. My taste in teams makes no sense, so don't even ask. However, it looks like this year I will have to start watching The Wild, simply because my one true love Devin Setoguchi plays for them now. Wah.
What I really want to do with this blog is blog out a whole season, with home games and away games(er, only away games I go to). I'm excited to see where this goes/who reads it/if I actually do it all. I've got some ideas I want to try out for it, but that will have to wait til next post.
